Live22 app install notes for all four platforms

Live22 covers more devices than most apps in this corner of the market: iPhone, Android, Windows and Mac. The game library is the same idea on each; what changes is how your device treats software that does not come from an official store.

iPhone (iOS)

Open the link in Safari and accept the install. The icon appears, but tapping it gives an "Untrusted Developer" message. Fix it in Settings, General, VPN & Device Management (Profiles on older iOS versions): tap the developer entry and choose Trust. The app opens normally from then on.

Android phones

Open the downloaded APK. Android will block it at first and offer a Settings shortcut; allow your browser or file manager to install unknown apps, then install. Afterwards, turn that permission off again so nothing else sneaks in the same way.

Check the file first. It should be one APK named after the platform. Delete anything that comes zipped, calls itself a "mod", or asks for SMS, contacts or accessibility access.

Windows and Mac computers

On Windows, SmartScreen may warn that it "protected your PC". Scan the installer with your antivirus, then use "More info" and "Run anyway" only if you trust where the file came from.

On a Mac, Gatekeeper may refuse to open an app from an unidentified developer. Open System Settings, go to Privacy & Security, and use the "Open Anyway" button that appears after the first blocked launch. Control-clicking the app and choosing Open does the same on older macOS versions.

Logging in to Live22

Sign in with the account ID and password you were given, and change the password if the app allows. Keep it off shared computers, or at least log out when you finish.
