243 ways instead of paylines

There is no payline structure here. Instead, a win forms whenever matching symbols land on adjacent reels, starting from the leftmost reel. Their row doesn't matter: a symbol in the top row of reel 1 connects with the same symbol in the bottom row of reel 2.

The 243 comes from the grid. Each of the five reels has three positions, and 3 x 3 x 3 x 3 x 3 = 243 possible left-to-right paths.

Two things follow from that. First, you don't pick lines, so the bet is usually set as a single total. Second, wins can stack up: if a symbol lands twice on one reel, every path through both copies counts, so one spin can pay the same symbol more than once.

The Giant Respin on reel 3

The feature is the Giant Respin, and it can come into play on any spin that already wins.

Watch reel 3. A golden light flashes around the border of one symbol position on that reel. If the light stops on one of the symbols that is part of the current win, the Giant Respin triggers. If it stops elsewhere, nothing extra happens.
