Egypt Spin (NTC33): from stone card tablets to the Eye of Horus

Egypt Spin is an NTC33 slot where the artwork does a lot of the talking. The reels are set into carved stone, the high symbols look like jewellery, and the card symbols are cut into stone-effect tablets.

What the Egypt Spin screen looks like

It is an effective design and easy to read at a glance. The Egyptian-style music suits it, and the mechanical clunk of the tumbling reels plays over the top.

The card symbols

The lower tier is the usual poker set, shown as stone tablets. What they pay depends on how many reels they land across on a payline:

• 10, J or Q: 7x, 50x or 150x your bet
• K or A: 10x, 60x or 200x your bet

Those are generous numbers for card symbols, so even the low end of the paytable can produce a decent line.

The Egyptian icons

Above the cards the pay ladder climbs through a set of Egyptian icons. The decorative scarab beetles and the Ankh sit in this tier, and the Eye of Horus is at the top, worth up to 400 times your bet.

The old notes don't list the exact value of every icon, or say whether the game has a wild, scatter or free spins round. Check the paytable in the game for those before you play.

A note on stakes

Since the card symbols carry fairly high multipliers, you will see some returns from the lower tier, but most spins still miss.
