Archer (Joker123): 243 ways and who pays what in the forest

Archer takes its cast from the Robin Hood stories: outlaws in the forest, a jolly friar and a villainous sheriff. It sits in the Joker123 lobby, and the maths behind it is easier to follow than the theme might suggest.

243 ways on every Archer spin

Before the first spin you set your bet, and that's the only real decision. Archer doesn't use fixed paylines. It uses 243 ways, and every one of them is active on each spin. Matching symbols on adjacent reels, starting from the left, pay regardless of which row they land on.

Since you can't switch ways off, your stake is set through the coin value alone. There is a minimum and a maximum coin size in the game's bet panel; pick the smallest while you get a feel for how often wins come.

Friar Tuck, the Sheriff and the card symbols

Two of the character symbols carry much of the paytable. Friar Tuck pays up to 750 times your bet for five of a kind. The Sheriff of Nottingham, villain or not, pays up to 500 times for five.

The rest of the regular game is filled with high-card symbols. The old notes are muddled on the lower card values, but they are clear on the top one: five aces pay up to 250 times your bet.
