Sparta's Legacy (Live22): what the three Leonidas symbols pay

Sparta's Legacy opens with a proper intro. King Leonidas walks slowly into view, cloak moving in the wind, looking every bit as grim as you would expect. The scene then cuts to a hailstorm and the aftermath of battle before the reels appear. If you have seen the well-known film about the Spartans at war, it will feel familiar.

Once the intro ends you get five reels and 40 paylines. The symbols mix the main characters with poker card icons, and there are some bonus features on top.

Three versions of Leonidas

The top of the paytable belongs to the king, in three different images. All three pay from just two matching symbols on reels one and two, which is rare for a 40-line game.

Wilds on the battlefield

Standard wins need matching symbols in an unbroken run from the left. Wilds stand in for any of the symbols above, so they can finish a combination or stretch a line to a bigger payout. The standard purple-background wild is not worth much on its own; its job is substitution.

Staking tip
