Cash Blox (NTC33): Ash Gaming's falling-block game and its paytable

Cash Blox is Ash Gaming's reworking of the falling-blocks puzzle that most people have played at some point. On NTC33 it sits with the slots, but it plays more like the arcade classic with a paytable attached.

The appeal of the original puzzle was simple: drop shapes into place and clear a neat, full line. The frustration was the gap you could not fill. Cash Blox keeps that feeling and adds a cash reward for completing lines of coloured blocks.

It is a simple game, and that is the point. There is little to learn before your first round.

Reading the Cash Blox paytable

All prizes are listed in the paytable next to the play grid. When you change your bet, those figures update automatically, so what you see always matches your current stake. That is more useful than a table of multipliers you have to convert in your head.

Bets and the top prize

Bets run from a minimum of 0.10 to a maximum of 10 per round. The biggest prize is 4,000 times your total bet, which works out to 40,000 at the top stake of 10. The old notes are unclear about the exact combination needed for that prize, so check the paytable in the game.

A top prize that large is, by design, very rare. Most rounds will return small amounts or nothing, so a low bet stretches your session much further than chasing the headline figure.
