Dolphin (Play8oy): bet buttons, the x3 free spins and the gamble screen

Dolphin on Play8oy takes you under the sea, but the part worth learning is on the control panel. Three buttons and one feature cover almost everything the game does.

Bet and spin buttons in Dolphin

Start with the Bet per line arrow. Each click steps the coin value, from 0.01 up to 0.5. Your total spin cost is that figure across the lines in play, so check the total bet display after changing it.

The Spin button starts a single spin. AutoPlay runs the reels for a series of spins without stopping between them. AutoPlay is handy, but it spends money quickly. Set a number of spins you are happy with, and stop it if the balance falls faster than you expected.

Scatters and the x3 free spins

Three, four or five scatters anywhere on the reels win 15 free spins, and every win in the round is multiplied by 3. The scatters can land again during the free spins to retrigger the round, which is how a single feature can stretch into a long run.

The count is the same 15 spins whether you land three scatters or five, so the extra scatters don't lengthen the round.

The red-or-black gamble

After a win, the Gambling button lets you try to double it. A face-down card is shown; guess whether it is red or black. Guess right and your win doubles. Press Take to collect what you have and leave the gamble round.

It is a straight 50-50 guess, and a wrong call wipes out that win. Many players skip it on bigger wins and only gamble small ones for fun.
